When we aren't at St Jean with the family, one of our favorite beaches on the island if you have little ones. We are most definitely visiting a few of our favorite local boutiques, for a fun day of shopping!
While we have so many beautiful boutiques on our "must visit list", we thought it might be fun to introduce you to a few of our longtime favorites in Gustavia.
Bérangère Windels, Popie, is the owner of Popie's on St Barth. Known for her beautiful hand-made styles created out of the timeless and chic Liberty of London prints, Popie's has forever been and will always be on our shopping list. Her sweet store is full of gorgeous liberty print styles the whole family can wear, as well as the gorgeous Bosabo leather sandals and clogs. Popie spends half her time on St Barth and the other half of the year in Bordeux. Make sure to pop in and say hello if your visiting the island and definitely grab a little something for yourself before you go home!
Laurent Effel is known on the island as the go-to boutique for the most chic beach sandals and gorgeous handbags. This boutique is one you don't want miss out on, full of beautiful suede loafers, stunning handbags and super chic sandals that pair gorgeously with any outfit! Anna is the beautiful owner of Laurnet Effel, her and her family run the store and will instantly make you feel like family the moment you step inside. Make sure you mark this one down on your shopping list for your next visit to the island!
Our shopping spree in Gustavia wouldn't be complete with out a visit to one of our favorites, Le Carl Gustaf. The view alone from the balcony is breathtaking and the dirty martins adorned with a beautiful red ribbon like a Cartier gift are an absolute must. Make sure to bring you swimsuit and visit Shell Beach for a little evening swim and dinner at Shellona.
